Have a nice Sunday, everyone. We have blogged, we had a photo shoot, and De la Gals are happy to report that the warm sun has returned (not to rub it in the face of the Portland team, of course :)) different from that we hope you all have a good day and are with people you love (or luckily have a time alone!). Let’s go in these links, right?
This week’s house tour is an apartment of 805 m²/FT NYC that was renovated in such a beautiful and carefully designed space. So many special details, but you have the window of stained glass interior that they had made to measure. View it here!
From Emily: the cute swimming suit in Rashguard style for Elliot (I want a matching) for real coverage. We go snorkeling and I need cover to prevent the fried back situation that took place last year (largest parenting failure of our lives). Our children have super fair-skined and need extreme coverage in the water, so I threw this to Elliot (who is 9 and has a very specific and sturdy fashion taste, now only wants to dress as a teenager). She approved it, it arrived and it is so incredibly cute. We have also ordered the two-part version with long sleeves (we are not firmly on crop tops in normal daily life, but the two-part two-part two-part feels fitting and frankly just so much easier for them to take it up or go the bathroom as with swimming pools).
From Arlyn: Since November I try to improve my movement and exercise. My goal every week is to get four 30 -minute training sessions and I really enjoyed everything with Dumbells. I really don’t need much (I did well with only my yoga mat and my dumbells), but I came across something like that and was really intrigued by it! An adjustable weight bench with built-in dumbell storage seems great. Has anyone used something like that? Is it gimmicky? Usable? I thought it was worth it here!
Van Caitlin: Miss Follow -up? ME, TOO. Big time. But this profile on Lachlan Murdoch-the youngest son of Rupert, the ever-heir of the FOX News Fortuin and the literal inspiration for the Roy-Kinderen-Vulte the void. There is drama! (Including a necklace, with questions such as “Why were you too busy to say ‘happy birthday’ to your father when he turned 90?“) There is intrigues! (With a Murdoch Family Counseling Retreat, no less.) There is misogyny! (The two oldest brothers and sisters – both women – were never seriously considered future CEOs.)
Van Jess: I am not someone who makes a result shoe purchase. For me it feels like a more important decision than almost any other fashion item (and those I usually want to be cheap.) I am looking for a flat that is “nice” but is still versatile with my wardrobe. I am also quite indecisive by nature. So after having looked at this specific pair for months, including placing it in our ballet apartments, and to see them on one of my favorite fashion “influencers”, I finally bought these bordeauxrode leather flats. To your surprise I love them and wear them non -stop!
Van Gretchen: This week I have two things I have shared here before, just because they are so good. They don’t have much to do with each other – like not at all – but if you have two feet and a face like me, then you might just be interested. The first are these ridiculously cute and cozy socks from Le Bon Shoppe. Originally our photographer Kaitlin played me on this brand, but Marlee is also a fan and now I am a full convert. I notice that I wear most socks until they are more on a slice of Swiss cheese. I am convinced that it is because the socks that I usually buy are cheap and close to worn to start with, and not because I walk around like an elephant. But these socks? They have done me sooo well. They are the perfect thickness, are so cute from just about every shoe, come into endless colors and styles, do not extend and still have to produce holes – and this is the couple I have had and worn religiously since November. I got a few styles to add to my collection and could not be happier with what they look and feel. My favorites are the girlfriend socks for their cute color accents and fit. Now on the face stuff … This Fenty Match Stix Contour Skinstick in Mocha is my proven holy grail. I am not sure what magic Rihanna pressed in this cream -colored bronzer, but I am obsessed with. Regardless of the season, regardless of whether I am spooky white or somewhat tanned, this fits effortlessly in my skin with only my fingers or a brush. It takes two seconds to apply and is sometimes the only makeup with which I leave the house. The glow is really but not too intense and a bit goes a long way. But I finally used her up and it’s time to buy again. I am tempted to buy 14 of them because it is just so good!
From Mallory: Another Dress Rec! I found this super cute red dress (with bags) and it is perfect for spring/summer. It is very comfortable and flattering and would be perfect for an Easter brunch or a holiday meal! Plus how cute are those arches? It also comes in a lot of other colors if red is not your thing 🙂
Van Marlee: The bad news is that it took me about 3 years to find the perfect cardigan – the good news is that I tarted all the opportunities and finally found one. This cardi from & Other Stories is truly the sweater of my dreams-it’s the perfect boxy fit, it’s an alpaca and wool blend which sounds like an itchy nightmare to me but I can wear it without a long-sleeved boundite and and the bolte-cute), and and rare), and and the arounde-lons arerneath and and the aroundeethe), and and the arounde), and and the bolte-sewed), and and the bolte-sede-slye-sewed), And Instead of Being Too Big or Bold. I have been (casually) looking for something like that is actually somewhat affordable and has not been terrible for so long. The other bad news is that most colors are sold out (still available in white and green!) But there is a suspected comparable sweater on their site that is $ 10 cheaper, as well as on random other sites like this on Nordstrom. I will regularly check their site to check for a residualock because I would like to grab the butter yellow.
Thank you for coming by and see you tomorrow to a wild revelation 🙂
